Give ChatGPT a private tracker

Keep entries you can find, update, and export, beyond the conversation itself. ChatData Sync gives ChatGPT an organized tracker for things like recipes, service logs, and client payments.

Choose your setup: Open the ChatData Sync app listing in ChatGPT and follow the connection flow if available to your account. Availability depends on ChatGPT. The steps below are for your own custom GPT with Actions.

How to connect ChatGPT to your tracker

Describe what you want to track

Sign in and type a plain-English description — "tutoring sessions with student name, date, topic, and payment status" or "pet care visits with pet name, owner, date, and services provided." ChatData Sync generates the structure for you.

Copy your GPT Action connection details

Open the Connect tab, choose ChatGPT, and select the custom GPT setup. Copy the schema URL and keep the connection key private. These are separate setup details.

Paste into your ChatGPT configuration

In the custom GPT editor, add an Action and import the schema URL. Configure API-key authentication with your connection key and the header name x-api-key, following the Connect tab guide. Save the GPT. Creating or editing custom GPTs depends on your ChatGPT plan; public GPTs with Actions also need a privacy policy URL.

Start talking to your data

Ask ChatGPT to log entries, pull up records from last month, check unpaid invoices, or summarize progress across all your clients. Ask it to show the entry it saved. Confirm names, dates, and amounts before relying on the result.
